Are you interested in having a beautiful wedding, but have a tight budget? That doesn’t have to be a problem if familiarize yourself with some methods that can help set up a cost-effective wedding. Even by making just a few changes to how the wedding is planned you could cut up to a third, or even half of the costs. To find out how this can be done read on for some tips:
Artificial Flowers
Flowers are one of the biggest costs at a wedding that cannot be avoided, because for a wedding to have a beautiful atmosphere flowers are a requirement. However, to cut costs you could opt for renting artificial, instead of the real flowers. Perhaps you could find some discount codes on artificial flowers by checking out VoucherBin.
Artificial flowers have other benefits when planning a wedding. For example, they can be ordered in advance – whereas real flowers must be ordered at the last minute to ensure they look perfect on the big day. Having the opportunity to order flowers in advance reduces the number of things that must be completed at the last minute.
Guest Limitations
With the idea that quality is better than quantity, you should limit the size of your guest list. There is no point in inviting a bunch of people you do not know, and might never see again after the wedding. This is especially true when you consider the fact that the cots will be directly impacted by the amount of people that you invite.
Therefore, put a limit on the number of people that you can afford to invite, and then stick to it.
All-Inclusive Deals
Instead of hiring the DJ from one company, the florist from another, and the caterers from another – use one wedding company. They will set up the entire wedding for you at a price that should be cheaper than if you were to use different companies. This also reduces the burden from the management side of things. That’s because you only have to deal with one company to get the wedding set up.
However, there are some things that you can still outsource to a specialised company if there is a good deal to be had. For example, if you want to receive beauty therapy treatments to look great on your wedding day, then you can visit VoucherBin for Tria Beauty Voucher Codes.
Off-Season
Most people tend to get married during the warm months of the year. Therefore, the prices for venues and wedding companies at those times of the year are increased. To save money you should plan the wedding on a month of the year where less people are getting married such as January or November.
This might allow you to book a venue that is very beautiful, but typically occupied during the summer. An added advantage of booking in the non-season is that you’ll also save money on the honeymoon.
Guest limitation is really a big factor. A small crowd makes a wedding more personal and intimate. I just wonder why there are some couples who want a bigger crowd.

Weddings are big business but there really isn’t a point in spending more than you can afford. I can’t imagine getting into debt just for one day of celebrations. You can save so much by doing things yourself, getting your family and friends to help out, while still having a gorgeous and unforgettable day.
One of my co-workers told me that when she got married she invited 1,000 people. All I could say is WHY?! I wanted to ask how did they pay for it. She said she wanted it to be a big party, but all those people, that’s just ridiculous.
When I start planning the big day, I want to have 25 guests max. It’s not just about the cost, but because I want only those who truly care about our union there.

Doing things yourself and shopping around can save money, reducing your guest list and having just the people who mean the most to you there will save money, just because you were invited to a wedding doesn’t need to invite them!

I love the idea about artificial flowers and guest limitations. A friend of ours spent $10,000 on wedding two months ago because of not paying attention on such things, especially guest limitations. I still cannot believe it till now.
My husband and I did an all inclusive honeymoon. It ended up being way cheaper than the other vacation spots we had priced. We also used artificial flowers for the aisle pieces, it cost 5x less than what the florist quoted me!
We kept our wedding small, intimate and close to home and have never regretted it. We had a great time with our closest friends and family without blowing through a ton of money.

But being a sociable and doing-business person may not cut down the number of guests. One of my friends did that and had to add more when being asked jokingly: ‘Why am I not invited?’. I agree on the artificial flowers and the off-season too but others may not think that far, they just want their wedding to be as luxurious as they want, even if they can’t really afford all of that. Thanks for the great tips nonetheless!
My daughter is getting married next year, I am very proud and lucky that she is keeping her wedding small. I kept our wedding guest list down to less than a hundred, and we ended up with just over 50 people at the wedding. We were able to have a great wedding and reception for less than $1000.00 for everything.

Hi Pauline,
I marked you are interested in artificial flowers in wedding occasion and there is one big advantage of such flowers that they can be ordered in advance, which is absolutely right. But I believe that on wedding day how we can ignore real flowers which make a memorable atmosphere for wedding couple.
Limitation of guest matters so much in wedding budget and inviting few people who mean to our family will save lots of money and there is no need to use only artificial flowers but you can add some natural flowers.
Pauline, excellent tip that you mentioned about getting artificial flowers for a wedding. It sure would be a neat idea to maybe mention to my wife. Since her mom has put her in charge of the wedding flower arrangements for her sister’s wedding.
